​About Our Founder ​
After a career as a Property & Casualty and Workers’ Compensation Insurance Broker, Stewart Hargrove, President of Insurance Advocacy Group, started his company in 2002 and was determined to help buyers with their property & casualty insurance negotiations. When the insurance buyer is relieved of the burden of becoming an insurance expert, it’s a financial game changer with IAG on their team.
Stewart believed then, as he does now, that disenfranchised insurance buyers needed an advocate, liberating them from the insurance industry. His approach is to make buyers feel more in control by educating them throughout the process. He created a team of expert advocates who provide practical information and deliver results.

Stewart Hargrove is the president of Insurance Advocacy Group (IAG) who works with mid-market leaders to empower and defend them from the Insurance Industry. Stewart attended Hampden Sydney College in Virginia. He graduated in 1980 with a degree Managerial Economics. Stewart has been in the insurance industry for over four decades, founding IAG in 2002. Stewart believes that disenfranchised insurance buyers absolutely need an advocate on their side to protect them from the Insurance Industry. Stewart’s advocates and team have produced significant financial results helping clients across a variety of industries. Stewart is a CPCU; trained, certified and awarded.
